Become an Instructor |
Training for Addiction Professionals' (TAP) goal is to provide all of its participants with quality core and continuing education. That's why we select qualified professionals in the substance abuse field to instruct each course. We always consider new instructors for both core education and continuing education courses.
Individuals with an advanced degree plus LADC credentialing receive preference in teaching core courses. We also consider prior teaching experience in the selection process. Instructors must follow a TAP-approved course curriculum when instructing core courses. We provide that curriculum.
We also look for new topics to offer as one-day, six-hour continuing education workshops. If you're both qualified and interested in facilitating one of these workshop, please contact TAP at (402) 483-4581 ext. 328 to discuss details.
To become a TAP instructor, please prepare a packet including:
- Resume, including any previous teaching experience
- Brief biography
- Photocopies of certificates, degrees, licensures, etc.
- List of topic area(s) you'd like to teach
- Application form, in pdf below
Please mail the packet to:
