PALS Provider Course

PALS Provider Course
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses are designed according to the American Heart Association's guidelines for pediatricians, house staff, emergency physicians, family physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers who are responsible for the well-being of infants and children.

The PALS Provider Course includes didactic material as well as practical situations which are designed to provide hands-on experience and enable participants to develop skills to effectively manage cardiopulmonary pediatric emergencies. On the second day, participants will be evaluated on their knowledge and skills in a simulated arrest situation. Completion of the program is based on criteria established by the American Heart Association (AHA). Upon successful completion, an AHA card verifying two-year PALS Provider status will be issued.
