Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
The Emergency Nurses Association developed the Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) for registered nurses with at least six months of clinical nursing experience in an emergency care setting. Other health care professionals may audit the course.

Trauma nursing refers to the process and content of the various roles nurses fulfill in caring for the trauma patient. TNCC presents knowledge, refines skills, and builds a firm foundation in trauma nursing through lectures and skills stations.
