Treatment

Tobacco Cessation:    Among the options clients can select to help bring a healthier baby into the world is assistance in reducing or even quitting smoking. Young Family's Program's tobacco cessation program begins with a personal smoker's profile to identify what triggers the desire for a cigarette. Then we help the client create a plan for reducing and/or quitting — and we provide the ongoing support clients need to succeed.

Substance Abuse:    Our licensed mental health care provider will assess the challenges that surround clients' substance abuse. We know that genuine psychosocial stressors like limited financial resources and medical care, or relationship problems can place our clients at higher risk. We will help clients examine all the factors in their lives, put together a reasonable plan with goals and objectives, and then begin working toward improved health outcomes for everyone in the family.

Young Family's Program provides these services at no cost to clients. So, if a client needs relapse counseling, or individual counseling on personal or family issues, our staff members will work with her. Plus, if additional support is needed, we refer clients to outpatient facilities that we trust. Ultimately, our goal is to help young families achieve success by assisting the individuals within each family by tailoring treatment to their specific needs.
