The Lincoln Family Medicine Center, a program of the Lincoln Medical Education Partnership, currently has a FT opening for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a CMA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our clinic setting. The successful candidate will possess strong medical administrative skills and a solid understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and medication administration.
Duties:
Provide exceptional patient care by assisting with vital signs, patient intake, and discharge processes.
Administer medications and injections as directed by medical providers.
Assist with minor procedures and perform phlebotomy as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Operate electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient information.
Handle urgent care situations with professionalism and a sense of urgency.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective communication and patient care.
Participate in Level I Trauma Center activities and inpatient care as required.
Demonstrate a commitment to patient care and adhere to clinic policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and medication administration.
Experience working in a clinic setting or urgent care environment.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Ability to lift and move patients as necessary.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Family Medicine Faculty Physician
Lincoln Family Medicine Residency Program of Lincoln Medical Education Partnership is looking for a Board Certified Family Medicine physician interested in becoming a full-time faculty member. No previous faculty experience is necessary, simply a desire to teach. Compensation and benefits are very competitive. Workload, call schedule, and hours are also very reasonable.
We are a highly competitive community-based 8-8-8 program affiliated with the University of Nebraska Medical Center. We house a full-service family medicine clinic and behavioral health center.
Teaching duties include supervising resident physicians in the delivery of the full range of family medicine services.
