Stepping Stones for Families believes that addressing drug and alcohol abuse can improve the health of the whole family.
With this in mind, Stepping Stones' therapist offers the following services:
- Drug and alcohol evaluations
- Referrals for treatment
- Interim treatment services for those on waiting lists for other community agencies
- Outpatient services, including relapse prevention
- Alcohol and drug education
Our Assessment and Referral: Alcohol and Other Drugs/Addictions (Adults) and Outpatient Treatment: Alcohol and Other Drugs/Addictions (Adults) programs are CARF accredited.
Drug and Alcohol Evaluations
Drug and Alcohol Evaluations are available Monday-Friday by appointment for adults only. We do not having a waiting list and most clients can been seen within a day or two. The evaluation includes an alcohol and drug history and assessment, along with visits with family members and others with your permission. Based on the evaluation results, our counselor will recommend the appropriate service. If we are unable to provide the recommended services, we will make a referral to other agencies within the community.
All individuals are welcome. Pregnant and parenting women and/or IV drug users are given priority admission.
Stepping Stones for Families offers a Sliding Fee Scale for our clients. We also accept Midlands Choice and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska as well as Optum - United Healthcare; Nebraska Total Care and Wellcare of Nebraska.
Outpatient Counseling and Treatment
Substance Abuse: Our licensed alcohol and drug counselor assesses each client to gather information and documentation needed to identify the client's status, strengths, preferences, and needs in order to develop an individualized treatment plan. Individual and family counseling is available. We can also provide relapse prevention counseling.
Sliding Fee Scale
Stepping Stones provides Alcohol and Drug Evaluations and Outpatient Counseling Services on a sliding fee scale. All clients will be asked to complete a worksheet to assist us in determining your ability to pay. No client will be denied services due to inability to pay.
