Practice Administrator

The Lincoln Family Medicine Center, a program of the Lincoln Medical Education Partnership, has an opening for a Practice Administrator. This is an exempt management position responsible for leading and directing the business operations of the Lincoln Family Medicine Center.

As the primary education site for the training of residents at the Lincoln Family Medicine Residency Program, we are able to offer our patients cutting-edge medical care from physicians that have recently graduated from prestigious medical schools from around the U.S. With 24 resident physicians, seven faculty physicians and two mid-level providers, we are a very busy clinic. In addition to our medical clinic, we also have an outpatient mental health program, as well as a medical acupuncture program.

We are seeking an experienced administrator with a broad-based knowledge of practice management. This position will be responsible for leading and directing the business operations of the Lincoln Family Medicine Center, and will also teach practice management topics to our resident physicians. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Master’s preferred; plus five years of management-level experience in the administration of a healthcare organization. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.

Certified Billing and Coding Specialist

Lincoln Family Medicine Center, a program of Lincoln Medical Education Partnership, currently has a Full-time opening for a Certified Billing and Coding Specialist. This is a non-exempt position, responsible for assigning codes to medical procedures and diagnoses in compliance with medical coding guidelines and insurance regulations. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in medical coding is required. CPC and CCS certification is preferred.

Lincoln Family Medicine Center is a busy office with over 30 providers. We are seeking a team player with a minimum of one year of medical billing experience. One year of ICD-10 billing experience is preferred.

Accounts Receivable Specialist

Lincoln Family Medicine Center, a program of Lincoln Medical Education Partnership, currently has a Full-time opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This is a non-exempt position responsible for the collection of delinquent patient accounts. We are a busy family medicine office, with over 30 providers. We are seeking a team player with a minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and collection practices.

Mental Health Therapist

*Hiring Bonus*
$1,250 F/T or $625 P/T

Stepping Stones, an outpatient behavioral health center, is seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (20+ hours per week) Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP), or Provisional Licensed Mental Health Practitioner PLMHP) who is passionate about providing therapeutic services to adults and/or children who are affected by mental health and/or substance use issues.

Duties include the provision of outpatient therapy for mental health and/or co-occurring issues, engaging in warm handoffs in LMEP’s medical clinic, providing clinical supervision to PLMHPs and conducting pre-treatment biopsychosocial assessments (if an LIMHP or LICSW), and assisting with referrals. Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work required. New graduates are welcome to apply and free clinical supervision will be provided.

Family Medicine Faculty Physician

Lincoln Family Medicine Residency Program of Lincoln Medical Education Partnership is looking for a Board Certified Family Medicine physician interested in becoming a full-time faculty member.  No previous faculty experience is necessary, simply a desire to teach.  Compensation and benefits are very competitive. Workload, call schedule, and hours are also very reasonable. 

We are a highly competitive community-based 8-8-8 program affiliated with the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  We house a full-service family medicine clinic and behavioral health center.

Teaching duties include supervising resident physicians in the delivery of the full range of family medicine services.
